From a young age, I was drawn to drawing and coloring, a passion that naturally evolved into a professional career. I earned my BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and began my career in scenic painting and theatrical props across Chicago, New York, Washington DC, and Europe. Whether replicating marble, wood, sky, cityscapes, or entirely imagined environments, I approached each challenge with enthusiasm and precision.

Returning to St. Louis, I built a family, adopted two dogs, restored multiple historic homes, and created The Fire & Ice Cream Truck, a 1946 Ford firetruck that brings both entertainment and ice cream to the community.

Since 2003, The Design Deli has delivered murals, signs, theatrical sets, props, and a wide range of hand-painted surfaces with creativity and craftsmanship. In my personal work, I focus on portraiture and landscapes, exploring humanity’s presence in nature, the dynamics of movement within composition, and the emotional resonance of color and light. Recently, I have also expanded into book illustration, continuing to explore new ways to engage with visual storytelling.
